EPSON: a case study
EPSON Europe came to IRENT looking for a smart financial model for its hybrid cloud. The transition from a traditional environment to an HCI and cloud platform meant that the company needed contractual flexibility. In addition, it wanted to keep costs as low as possible.
The solution
EPSON Europe found the flexibility it needed in IRENT’s Hardware as a Service (HaaS). Through ‘Pay per Use’ rental of the HCI solution, EPSON can keep its monthly usage costs low. Plus, the company can upscale or downscale for however much or little time it requires. The company only pays for what it uses. By arranging an exchange through IRENT, EPSON gave its traditional IT environment a new lease of life.
