What is Device as a Service?
Device as a Service allows you to purchase laptops & desktops, in a flexible way. You can easily add accessories (for example a docking, bag or monitor), software and services to the subscription. Think for example of installation, image flushing, theft & damage handling, insurance and managed services.
With our Device as a Service service, you only pay for the devices you use and do not pay for ownership. You can easily scale up and down on demand. This means that the devices you no longer use are picked up by us. This results in a lower monthly price, transparency and predictability. After all, you go from owning (CapEx) to using (OpEx).
IRENT takes care of the complete investment in all equipment. So each month you only pay a fixed amount for what you use (from CapEx to OpEx). You can subscribe for 24 months or more. With Device as a Service, our customers reduce their costs by an average of 15%.
You have a single point of contact for all devices and accessories. At the end of the term you always have the option to extend the subscription, terminate it or do a complete tech refresh. We ensure that your data is always certified destroyed when you return the devices.

What are the terms?
You can purchase Device as a Service from 24 months to 48 months. Most customers sign a Device as a Service agreement for 36 months.
How do you handle data on returned data carriers?
Data on returned data carriers is immediately certified erased by us. After erasure, you will immediately receive a certificate from us so that you have complied with AVG/GDPR.
Do you provide support such as installation and flushing?
Yes, with our Device as a Service solution you can easily purchase additional services. This ranges from installation and image spooling to full managed services.
Do you offer support with Device as a Service?
We offer 9×5 support as standard. Would you like more extensive support? No problem! We tailor the Device as a Service subscription to your needs.
Can we return devices during the subscription period?
One of the main advantages of Device as a Service is the ability to scale up and down the IT equipment. Do you have a capacity peak? Then you can temporarily acquire additional systems on a flexible basis. Or do you need less after some time due to staff turnover, for example? Then we simply collect the superfluous devices from you.
Is Device as a Service the same as leasing?
No. Only hardware can be included in operational lease and financial lease agreements. In addition, the terms are often longer than 36 months, it is not possible to return hardware during the term and you must purchase software and services separately. With our Device as a Service solution you combine devices, accessories, software and services in one subscription and you can scale down in between.
